The Defender brings a 1000 point battleforce plus three vehicles which cost less then 40 points and have a damage value of two or less. The Attacker starts with 600 points, but also has two 300 point reserve armies.
The Defender gets six orders a turn, but the last two orders of their turn must go to a convoy vehicle. The Attacker gets 4 orders per turn.
The Defender can deploy up to 12" into the canyon. Their vehicles must deploy at the canyon's edge. The Attacker can deploy anywhere from 12" in to 18" in from their side of the canyon. We recommend a six foot long canyon. No terrain is placed.
The defender is trying to get each of the target vehicles off the attacker's side of the canyon.
At the beginning of the Attacker's turn, roll 2d6. If the result is less then the current turn number, the Attacker gets a set of reinforcements. Roll a d6 die. On a result of 1 to 3, the right flank Attackers arrive. On a roll of 4 to 6, the left flank Attackers arrive. Each force consists of the one of the two reserve 300 point forces. These forces deploy in the right or left side of the Defender's original deployment zone.
Victory Conditions - For each transport vehicle which makes it off the attackers edge of the board without being salvaged, the Defender earns two points. If a transport vehicle exits the board salvaged, then both the Attacker and Defender earn a point. For each destroyed transport, the Attacker earns a point. For each captured transport, the Attacker earns two points. In the event the Attacker and Defender split these six points, use VC1 to determine the victor.
