It has been eight months since I started working on the dropship, but it is finally done. Standing around 27 inches, the Overlord towers over the battlefield.
There were quite a few firsts for me on this project. I have never built a game piece this big. This was the first experience I have had with fiberglass and its toxic goodness... The gray putty was also a first for me. I know the next time I build something like this I could do a much better job. Fiberglass modeling is one of those things which takes a few tries to get right. This page goes over some of the techniques used in the construction of the ship. I will do a much better tutorial later this year on the Tabletop Battlefield.
